Jesus told the disciples they would weep and lament when He leaves them to go to the cross. Today we should weep and lament because of the reason Jesus had to go to the cross. Our sin was atoned for, but only because Jesus was willing to pay our price. Our sin should cause us to weep and lament. The condition of the world; the sin, hurt, brokenness should cause us to weep and lament as well. But because of what Jesus accomplished when He raised from the dead, our sorrow will turn into joy!
