Sanballat and Tobiah were enemies of Nehemiah and opposed the work of the Lord. While Sanballat was the ringleader and was destructive, Tobiah was the sidekick and not destructive. The Tobiah's in our lives are the things that are not destructive, but are not holy neither. They are things that are fine in the world's eyes, but do not bring us closer to God. They are things that distract. What we have to ask ourselves, what are the Tobiah's in our lives that distract us from our walk with the Lord?
