As James prepares to conclude his letter, he puts his shepherd hat on and encourages his readers to have patience. They have been oppressed and suffering. They are going through trials, but they are encouraged to be patient. We all go through trials and suffering of different sorts, but we must be patient. James gives three ways to be patients. Patient as a farmer, patient as the prophets and patient as Job. These three illustrations help teach us to be patient in our times of trial and suffering.
