Not only were the first believers devoted to the apostles' teaching, but they were devoted to fellowship. Not just a fellowship of having something in common and meeting together. But a fellowship that participated with each other and shared into each other's lives. For that to be possible, they were first in fellowship with God. Jesus makes it possible for us to have fellowship with God the Father.
